The government will extend financial support for beekeeping, launching a new call that will cover over 4,400 beneficiaries with a budget of 3.3 million euros. Beekeepers who continue their activity and adopt practices that help preserve bee populations and their habitats will benefit from this increased aid.

A second notice under Intervention C.1.1.6 "Support for beekeeping for biodiversity" will be opened for beneficiaries approved in the first call, allowing them to extend their commitments by one more year. The Ministry of Agriculture and Sea supports beekeeping through the PEPAC program on the mainland.
