According to initial investigations at the scene, the truck carrying beehives in Călinești likely caught fire due to an electrical short circuit. The Argeș Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) reported that the truck contained about 55 beehives, and the flames spread to an agricultural combine harvester nearby. The fire also threatened a neighboring cornfield. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. No victims were identified, and the probable cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit, according to ISU Argeș.
