Three honey producers from Valtellina were awarded at the national “Tre gocce d’oro” competition, which promotes quality honey and guides consumers. The winners are Mieleria Moltoni from Villa di Tirano, Bric by Anna Sara Trovato from Civo, and Le colonie by Michela Robustelli Della Cuna from Grosotto.

The contest saw 1,772 honeys entered by over 600 beekeepers across Italy, featuring 63 honey types. A total of 614 honeys received awards: 23 earned Three Golden Drops, 245 Two Drops, and 346 One Drop, recognizing 344 beekeepers. This reflects a rich diversity of flavors, colors, and textures for consumers.
