On October 3, 2026, Cuiabá councilman Marcrean Santos allocated R$ 1 million through a parliamentary amendment to support apiculture. The funds are designated for the National Institute for Education in Defense and Environmental Preservation (INDEPPA) to implement the "Sweetening Life" project aimed at strengthening beekeeping in Cuiabá.
