A young bear was reported in Valsaviore following damage to beehives and fruit consumption near the village of Valle. In response, the Brescia Provincial Police, in agreement with the Lombardy Region, installed a Trap Tube in the area. This tube trap is currently used solely to monitor the bear's movements.

The goal is to better understand how frequently the bear visits the area. Capture for fitting a radio collar will only be considered if the bear's behavior becomes problematic, and such action requires authorization from the Region and ISPRA.
