The Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry aims to increase production and strengthen food safety through organic beekeeping and 24/7 road control and field inspections.

Director Alpaslan Kenger and Department Head Hüseyin Eş inspected agricultural and beekeeping projects on site and met with producers. The efforts focus on expanding organic beekeeping and traceable production.

The delegation visited Turkey’s first Road Control Station, meeting the staff working 24/7 to discuss inspection activities and field conditions.

In the "Erzurum Highlands Get Organic Honey" project, producers trained in organic beekeeping received certificates. The project provides organic bee hives and honey melting kettles to increase added value in beekeeping.
