Kalyubiya Governorate is one of the key centers for growing and exporting oranges, known as the "yellow pearl, king of vitamin C, and flu conqueror." Its cultivation is concentrated in the cities of Tukh, Kafr Shukr, Banha, and Al-Qanater Al-Khairiya over more than 30,000 feddans, according to the Agriculture Directorate.

Dr. Nabil Al-Shishtawi, Deputy Minister of Agriculture in Kalyubiya, stated that orange and citrus export is an important agricultural season. Numerous training sessions and seminars were organized at agricultural associations and youth centers in various villages to support farmers and improve product quality. The Pest Control Department also conducted several guidance tours.
