Beekeepers received this year's bee colony subsidies based on applications submitted in May. In Läänemaa, eight beekeepers applied and were paid a total of 9,260 euros. Last year, 14 beekeepers in the county received support, with the total amount being twice as high. This year's subsidy is 22.92 euros per bee colony, six cents more than last year.
