The INTA's Network of Demonstrative Beekeeping Units (UDA) aims to produce local data tailored to each region's production conditions. By designing continuous monitoring tools, the network studies how management practices affect hive health and productivity, while encouraging knowledge exchange among producers and technicians.
In the 2023-2024 beekeeping season, a detailed study was conducted to identify the genetic material used in apiaries. This pilot characterization took place at the CEFC and El Algarrobo Demonstrative Units, both in Santiago del Estero province.
