PLANBEE addressed the challenges faced by Palestinian beekeepers by bringing together 28 beekeepers and farmers from 28 countries and two continents to develop innovative solutions for sustainable beekeeping.
The training program under PLANBEE included 16 hours of instruction focusing on specialized bee species and biological practices aimed at bee health and disease prevention.
Participants consisted of members of the Asasiyye Cooperative from southern Palestine and beekeeping experts. The training covered bee health, diseases, pests, royal jelly production, and queen bee breeding.
