Beekeeping in Ayacucho needs increased budget allocation to expand coverage and meet rising producer demand. Currently, S/200,000 is available to support this activity across six provinces through modules and technical assistance. Víctor Calderón Pillaca, head of the Regional Agrarian Directorate of Ayacucho, noted growing producer interest in strengthening beekeeping. Technical committees and coordination with beekeeper organizations, municipalities, companies, and cooperation institutions are underway.
