The Agrobusiness Niederrhein team invites to an event within the German-Dutch Interreg project AgriTech Innovation - TreeDigital, providing information about the Asian hornet (Vespa velutina). This invasive species is spreading and threatens native insect populations, posing challenges for beekeeping, agriculture, and horticulture.
The Nature Park Schwalm-Nette, WFG Kreis Viersen, and the AgriTech Innovation – TreeDigital project organize an information event covering the biology, distribution, and impacts of the species, as well as current control measures. The event takes place on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, from 3 to 5 pm at the Nature Park Center Wachtendonk "Haus Püllen", Feldstraße 35, 47669 Wachtendonk.
