Muğla, an important center for global pine honey production, is preparing to host discussions on the future of beekeeping. The 9th International Muğla Beekeeping and Pine Honey Congress will take place in Marmaris from November 19 to 22, 2026.

Supported by the Muğla Governorship, the congress will bring together key stakeholders from Turkey and various countries in the beekeeping sector in Marmaris. Organized in cooperation with the Turkish Beekeepers Central Union (TAB), Muğla Beekeepers Union (MAYBİR), Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, and the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA), the congress will address the current state of beekeeping, sector challenges, and future solutions.
