Military firefighters from ISU Timiș are combating several dry vegetation fires in the county, with the largest outbreaks near Știuca and Bunea Mare. In Știuca, the fire covers about 100 hectares, including roughly 5 hectares of forested pasture, and has spread to the Știuca Military Training Ground. Firefighters from Lugoj, joined by 30 soldiers, forestry officials, and Știuca volunteers, are involved in the response. The fire damaged 30 beehives and around 50 straw bales at a farm. ISU Timiș reports the fire is contained, with crews working to fully extinguish it.
