In northern Morocco, there is a massive invasion of Asian hornets causing significant damage to apiaries and threatening the harvest. These insects actively destroy bee colonies, raising concerns among local beekeepers.

Data confirmed by specialists show a considerable decline in bee colony numbers due to the spread of hornets. This affects not only honey producers but also the region's agriculture as bees play a vital role in crop pollination.
