The Investigative Committee released footage from an apiary in the Solton district of the Altai region where a bear attacked a teenager. The footage shows the predator’s strong claws, leaving deep scratches on a tree. The boy is currently in serious condition at the Biysk Central Hospital.
On October 8, despite the declared "emergency" due to bear sightings in the area, the teenager went with an adult friend to check the bee hives in the forest. Upon encountering the bear, the boy climbed a tree, but the animal knocked him down and inflicted multiple bites and injuries to his head and body.
