The Altai Regional Investigative Committee released footage from an apiary in the Solton district where a 15-year-old boy was attacked by a bear. The incident occurred on October 8, 20 km from Solton. The boy is in serious condition at the Central City Hospital of Biysk, receiving all necessary medical care.

According to the Investigative Committee, the minor went to the forest area to check on bee hives. Upon seeing the bear, he climbed a tree, which the predator knocked down before attacking the boy, causing multiple bites and injuries to his head and body. During the attack, the bear damaged the boy's phone, which caught fire and scared the animal away.
