In Sorgun district of Yozgat, production on a 13-decare hemp field attracted attention not only for its agricultural yield but also for its contributions to beekeeping. It was reported that honey yield increased in the apiary established next to the field, and observations on bee diseases were made.

In Karaveli village, about 4 tons of stalk and 2-2.5 tons of seed yield are expected from the 13-decare hemp field, while honey production next to the field drew attention. The harvest program organized by the Sorgun District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry was attended by the Sorgun District Governor and the Agriculture Director.
