The Association of Beekeepers of the Circuito das Águas Mineiro (APISCAM) has obtained a sanitary inspection seal through the SIMAG consortium, part of AMAG/CIMAG. The certificate was awarded at the association's headquarters and marks progress in the regulation and marketing of apicultural products in the region, according to the Rural Producers Union of Caxambu.

APISCAM was formed following a project by the Union in partnership with Senar Minas under the Technical and Managerial Assistance program (ATeG). This initiative brought together beekeepers from various municipalities, providing technical and management guidance and encouraging producer organization, which led to the creation of APISCAM.
