The Turkey Beekeeping Fair, organized in cooperation with Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and the Central Union of Turkish Beekeepers, is open to visitors until October 11 at the ANFA Altınpark Fair and Congress Center. The fair showcases beekeeping equipment, production processes, honey, as well as cosmetic and health products.

Hüseyin Şemsi Uysal, Head of Rural Services Department of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, stated that the number of registered beekeepers in the city increased from 1,600 to 1,728. The municipality provided producers with about 200 tons of bee feed and 5,000 hives, and organized training and consultation programs for 1,600 beekeepers.
