This afternoon, honorary citizenship will be awarded to Professor Giorgio Calcagnini, the distinguished rector of Urbino. Today marks the main day of the 38th Honey Festival in Belforte all’Isauro, which began two days ago. This historic event combines local beekeeping passion with regional promotion. The day will be highlighted by the honorary citizenship ceremony for the outgoing rector of the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Giorgio Calcagnini. The mayor, Federica Battazzi, described this as a gesture of gratitude and respect from the community, strengthening ties with the cultural and academic world, a valuable resource for the area's future.
