When people think of bees, they usually picture a yellow and black (or brown) insect with a stinger at the end of its abdomen. However, there are species without stingers that also produce honey, such as the jataí. To discuss this and more, the 1st ASFMS (Stingless Bees) Meeting of Meliponiculturists of Mato Grosso do Sul will be held on November 15.
