LAARBEEK - On Thursday, October 15, from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, beekeepers Joyce van Boekel and Marion de Dooij from IVN Laarbeek and De Weverkeshof Nuenen will give a lecture at the IVN building De Bimd, Beekseweg 3 in Aarle-Rixtel. They will enthusiastically share about their bees in the IVN nature garden.

Beekeeping can be done in many different ways. Joyce and Marion will explain their choices for their bees at IVN, focusing on keeping the bees healthy and the educational purpose rather than maximizing honey production. In October, they will conclude the 2026 bee year with a review of successes and lessons learned. They will also connect with other IVN disciplines such as insects, flowers, and plants to learn from each other.
