An Asian hornet nest has been found in our garden on Vondellaan, which we want to have removed. A local beekeeper came by after receiving a tip via a photo and found a nest the size of a skippy ball high in a tree. He reported it to meldpuntaziatischehoornaar.nl.

The Asian hornet is an invasive species that poses a major threat especially to honey bees and other insects. They actively hunt bees, wasps, butterflies, and other small insects to feed their colony, especially during the brood season. The municipality of Utrecht does not remove these nests, so we want to have it removed ourselves by a professional from vespax.nl.
