Beekeepers in Eskişehir experienced a productive honey harvest this season after two years of drought. Yılmaz Aşçı, President of the Eskişehir Beekeepers Association, stated that the price per kilogram of extracted honey ranges between 700 TL and 1,200 TL, while comb honey prices vary from 900 TL to 1,500 TL. The base prices were set at 700 TL for extracted honey and 900 TL for comb honey.

Beekeepers, who faced difficulties due to drought in the past two years, found relief in this productive season. Aşçı noted that positive developments in honey production reduced pressure on beekeepers and that this season was better compared to previous years. He also mentioned an increase of up to 80% in beekeeping subsidies.
