Colorado Honeybee Festival Relocates to Las Colonias Park in 2027

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) – The 2027 Colorado Honeybee Festival will be held at Las Colonias Park in Grand Junction, as announced by the festival committee on Tuesday. This free annual event celebrating honey bees and pollinators is set for Saturday, April 10. Established in 2008, the festival took place at the Cross Orchards Historic Site in 2026, where record attendance highlighted the need for a larger venue.

In June, organizers chose Las Colonias Park to support future expansion. Situated along the Colorado River, the park features food-truck hookups with water and electricity, eliminating generator use. It also provides more parking, permanent restrooms, and open areas for visitors and vendors.
