New funding opportunities for purchasing beekeeping trucks are available through the 2026 Improvement Plans, allowing professionals to modernize their equipment and ease hive transportation. Subsidies can reach up to 70%, depending on the beneficiary category and investment location.

A key requirement for truck purchase is that the apiary must have at least 200 bee colonies. The vehicle must be new, open type, with a gross weight between 3.5 and 15 tons, and suitably adapted for safe hive transport. Allowed capacity depends on the apiary size: up to 8 tons for 200 colonies, 12 tons for 400, and 15 tons for 600 or more.
