A swarm of bees attacked workers and pedestrians at a gas station in Asa Norte, Brasília, on Tuesday (13). The attack caused panic, with people running to escape the insects. During the escape, a man fell and hit his head. Despite the scare, no serious injuries were reported. Videos from the scene show victims trying to protect themselves. One worker ran to a nearby car wash for shelter and help. Witnesses said several people were stung, but the exact number of victims was not disclosed.

A beekeeper was called to assess the situation and found two possible hives in a tree near the station. It is suspected that the pouring of a liquid near one hive triggered the bees' reaction, but the cause has not been confirmed.
