The Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry announced that technical staff from the Başmakçı District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry are conducting inspections of bee colonies in beekeeping areas. During these inspections, existing hives are examined on site and records are updated through assessments. The aim of these activities is to support the sustainability of the beekeeping sector.

The statement also noted that the hive identification and control efforts continue to ensure effective monitoring of beekeeping activities, preservation of production potential, and maintenance of a reliable registration system.
