Nuri Toğantemur, a beekeeper in Baskil district of Elazığ, was attacked by hundreds of bees while tending his hives. Bees entered through tears in his protective suit and stung him on various parts of his body. He lost consciousness due to the stings but recovered after treatment in hospitals in Malatya. The attack was captured on camera.

The incident occurred in Baskil. Toğantemur opened the lid of one hive to feed the bees syrup and pollen patties when hundreds of bees attacked him. Due to tears in his protective clothing, bees entered inside and stung him especially on his feet and legs. He struggled intensely to escape the attack.
