Agustín Mabres Valdez, 18, lives in Junín de los Andes and founded Las Melarias, a honey business that started with four hives gifted by a teacher. Surrounded by Patagonia's pure air, the Chimehuín River, and Lanín volcano, Agustín is building his future. Though he hasn't finished high school, he already knows he wants to stay in his town, expand Las Melarias, distribute honey nationwide, and unite other beekeepers to strengthen apiculture in Patagonia.
