In Hopa district of Artvin, medication was distributed to 9,500 hives across 220 enterprises to combat Varroa and Tropilaelaps mites, supporting beekeeping activities. The program, organized by the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, aimed to effectively fight these mites that threaten honey production.

The medicines provided to protect the health of active hives in registered enterprises were delivered to beekeepers. Teams from the Agriculture and Forestry Directorate informed beekeepers about the correct use of the medication. Hopa District Governor Uğur Karakaya wished beekeepers a productive and prosperous season.
