On October 12, the deadline passed for beekeepers to submit support requests for the 2026 campaign under the strategic plan "Beekeeping Sector Interventions." In Mureș County, requests exceeded 5.6 million lei, according to Ovidiu Săvâșcă, director of APIA Mureș. A total of 364 applications were submitted, amounting to 5,641,662 lei, which will soon be transferred to farmers' accounts.

The support covers multiple interventions, including medications for treating varroa and nosemosis, purchasing new hive boxes, beekeeping accessories, pollen dryers, beekeeping tools, and protective equipment. The amount granted varies depending on each beekeeper's needs, with 12 different measures available.
