In Ardahan, a "Wintering Techniques in Beekeeping" training was organized for beekeepers to ensure the sustainability of beekeeping activities and minimize colony losses during the winter months. The training covered methods to prepare honey bee colonies for winter and to reach spring strong.

The program, conducted in cooperation with the Caucasian Bee Production, Training and Gene Center Directorate and Ardahan Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, aimed to increase the knowledge and experience of beekeepers in Ardahan. The training, given by Ardahan University Lecturer Kemal Yazıcı, detailed the preparations necessary for honey bee colonies to survive the winter healthily under Ardahan's harsh climate conditions.
