New operational concepts are being developed to enhance the effectiveness of unmanned aerial vehicles on the battlefield. At the International Best Military Drone Team Competition, capabilities of an autonomous, covert communication emergency response system for fixed base areas and critical facilities were demonstrated. The "Beehive" system, appearing externally as a standard monoblock guard booth, protects MIKON drones under its openable roof, keeping them ready for launch 24/7.
