In Hakkari, under the “I Installed Fences, My Bees Are Safe” project, electric fence systems were distributed to 262 beekeepers over the last 3 years with support rates between 75% and 100%. The project is run by the Hakkari Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, and the distribution ceremony took place in Akçalı village.
