Four women in Hakkari started organic honey production after receiving training, supported by the government. Members of the Lilyana Women's Cooperative applied to the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry under the "Organic Beekeeping Project."
Following evaluation, the women received 43 hives, 20 organic hives, and equipment with 75% grant support. They were given four months of theoretical and practical beekeeping training by the Directorate's staff.
