Ali Uyar, a beekeeper from the Serdivan district of Sakarya, made an astonishing discovery in one of his hives: green honey! Uyar, who manages around 200 hives in the Aşağıdereköy neighborhood, was shocked to see the green honey and immediately took a sample to send to the university. Uyar stated, "This region is rich in linden and acacia honey production. However, this green honey is not found in other hives. If the honey has high values of phenolic flavors, we believe it may have antibacterial and healing properties," he said. Ali Uyar noted that the authenticity of the honey will be clarified through the examinations to be conducted, and he is eagerly awaiting the results.
