Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çakmak, Director of the Beekeeping Development Application and Research Center (AGAM) at Bursa Uludağ University, explained that the weather has been mild, which has caused bees to spend more time outside the hives. Noting that bees are expending more energy, Çakmak stated, "Bees have also started to brood a bit earlier. Therefore, they have consumed most of the food stores inside. The most important measure to take from now on is to provide the bees with plenty of food. We need to meet their nutritional needs by giving them a cake made with honey, pollen, and powdered sugar."
