4 million bees have died, gendarmerie has started an investigation

The gendarmerie has launched a comprehensive investigation into the destruction of beehives within the national beekeeping project conducted by Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University.

Under a project initiated in 2016 with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Necati Muz from Namık Kemal University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, beekeeping began in 200 hives in the Uçmakdere area, which is far from agriculture.
