Within the scope of the Agricultural Research and Policies General Directorate (TAGEM) R&D Support Program of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, artificial insemination studies were conducted at the Breeding Center in Yozgat during the nectar flow period as part of the project titled “Breeding of the Black Sea Bee (Apis mellifera L.) for Yield and Resistance to Varroa (Varroa destructor)” carried out between 2018-2021 in collaboration with the Ordu Beekeepers Association, the Central Union of Turkish Beekeepers, the Ordu Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Beekeeping Research Institute.
