They learned beekeeping and harvested their first honey

Significant support for local development from Bornova Municipality

Participants in the beekeeping training, part of Bornova Municipality's agricultural support projects, harvested their first honey from the apiary in Kayadibi Village. Those who took part in the beekeeping training initiated by Bornova Municipality with a focus on local development obtained their first honey. A total of 80 participants placed their hives in the 23-acre apiary established by Bornova Municipality in Kayadibi Village. To ensure a suitable environment for the bees, various saplings were also planted in the apiary, where participants were provided with a room and a honey extractor for harvesting. The first honey was recently obtained from the hives placed in the apiary during the spring months.
