Ordinary Beekeeper Works for "Best Honey" in Hakkari Mountains

Shinasi Keskin from Ordu, who has been beekeeping for 43 years and moved to Hakkari in 2020, produces high-quality honey thanks to the region's rich vegetation.

The couple, Shinasi and Cevriye Keskin, have been beekeeping in Hakkari for 4 years to produce the highest quality honey due to its rich vegetation, natural water sources, and high altitude.

After graduating from elementary school in Ordu, 63-year-old Shinasi Keskin moved to Istanbul to work in construction. Influenced by family members involved in beekeeping, he decided to pursue this profession in 1981.
