87-Year-Old Traveling Beekeeper from Rize Credits His Health to His Profession

Ayhan Kan, an 87-year-old from Rize who has been continuing his father's profession as a traveling beekeeper for over half a century, stated that he owes his health to beekeeping.

The Eastern Anatolia Region, with its high altitude, vast pastures, and rich floral diversity, has become a frequent destination for traveling beekeepers. Especially many beekeepers from the Black Sea Region spend their summer months at their hives.
