MP Fethi Gürer: The Beekeeping Sector is at Risk

CHP Niğde MP Ömer Fethi Gürer stated that the problems experienced in recent years in Turkey, which is among the few countries in the world for honey production, have started to threaten beekeeping.

In a speech on behalf of the CHP group regarding the Parliamentary Research Proposal aimed at examining the issues in beekeeping and finding solutions, CHP Niğde MP Ömer Fethi Gürer emphasized in his speech at the Parliament that, in addition to the problems caused by drought and forest fires in beekeeping, serious measures need to be taken to prevent the significant increase in counterfeit honey production.
