In a laboratory study supported by the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit of Fırat University, it was determined that gallic acid has a healing effect against the protozoan disease "nosema," which causes yield loss in honey bees.
The project, conducted by Prof. Dr. İsmail Seven and his team from the Sivrice Vocational School (MYO) Beekeeping Program, focused on combating the nosema disease that leads to yield loss in honey bees.
