Bears Destroy Beehives in Antalya - Breaking News

Antalya's Wildlife is in Danger!

Bears living in the forested area of western Antalya have recently attacked beehives, causing significant damage to beekeepers. Beekeepers in the region are experiencing great concern and are seeking help from authorities.

Why Are Bears Attacking Beehives?

According to experts, bears typically attack beehives to eat the honey. Especially during the winter months, when they struggle to find food, bears see the honey in beehives as an easy target. This situation leads to both financial losses for beekeepers and a disruption of the balance in the natural ecosystem.
