The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, which carries out many activities for the development of agriculture and livestock in Istanbul, has not forgotten beekeepers this year, providing a total of 645 producers with bee feed support.
The Veterinary Services Branch of the Agricultural Services Department of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality continues to increase the support it provides to producers every year. The bee feed support given to beekeepers producing honey in Istanbul since 2022 was also implemented this year. The distribution ceremony held at the Pendik Kurnaköy Sacrifice Area was attended by Ahmet Atalık, Head of the Agricultural Services Department of İBB, Fevzi Karaağaç, Director of Veterinary Services, Onur Çilenk, Vice President of the Istanbul Beekeepers Association, Ahmet Can, President of the Şile Beekeeping and Bee Products Agricultural Development Cooperative, and beekeepers.
