The King Gains a Colony and a Queen

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima now have their own beehive. It is located on the estate where they live, De Horsten, in Wassenaar. This afternoon, the hive was officially opened by the king. Inside the hive, there is a colony of about 7000 bees. One of them is the queen. She maintains the nest by laying hundreds of eggs every day.
