Beekeepers hopeful for the yield of registered chestnut honey

Beekeepers producing chestnut honey in Çam Dağı, located between the Kocaali and Hendek districts of Sakarya, hope to have a productive season with their geographically marked honey this year.

Beekeepers who completed their preparations in June for the geographically marked "Kocaali Çam Dağı Chestnut Honey" on the 900-meter-high mountain between the two districts began harvesting honey with the arrival of July. Starting their intense work pace with the first light of day to ensure the honey they extract from the combs reaches the tables, beekeepers believe they will experience the best season in the last 10 years.
